Jewelry and Celebration

Opening November 15, 2025 | Porto

A alegria é a coisa mais séria da vida!

“Joy is the most serious thing in life!”

Almada Negreiros, Portuguese multidisciplinary artist

Let’s party! Tincal lab turns 10 in 2025 and it seems like the perfect time to reflect on the power of jewelry when it comes to celebrate special moments.

Jewels are often connected to collective rituals and long-time traditions. Think about weddings, coronation or awards ceremonies, graduations and anniversaries.

In the context of celebration, a jewel can be universally recognized as a symbol of a commitment or an achievement. On a more personal level, it can celebrate memories, emotions and feelings. As a sign of intimacy, it can hide secrets whose meaning is only noticed by the wearer and someone who has the key. Often left as a heirloom or gifted on special dates, a jewel can bear layers of meanings that connect us to people we love or special events in our lives. With or without the weight of its material value, it can be carried like a treasure we cherish more than gold.

A metaphor, a memory vessel, a souvenir, a reflexion of a personal expression, a display of social status, a symbol of love that stands the test of time. Jewelry is definitely a way to celebrate life in all its variety of forms and expressions.

You’re invited to join the celebration!

The event is part of the internationalization offensive go-international, a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

The fashion, design, and jewelry scene in Milan continues to shine through its dynamism and creativity.

The recent trade shows, where AUTOR Platform was a media partner – MICAM Milano, Milano Fashion & Jewels, MIPEL, and The One Milano – attracted an impressive 40,950 industry visitors, 45% of whom came from 140 foreign countries for the autumn editions.

These B2B fairs not only showcased cutting-edge trends but also fostered collaborations with universities, highlighting the importance of nurturing the next generation of designers. In this dynamic context, we present five designers selected by AUTOR for the quality and authenticity of their jewelry collections, each ready to shape future trends and welcome new orders.

1. Ana Wagner – Elegance in Contemporary Jewelry Ana Wagner brings a refined touch of Romanian artistry to Milano Fashion & Jewels. Known for her hand-painted porcelain jewelry, Wagner masterfully blends tradition with modernity, capturing the essence of her graphic style while intertwining it with contemporary design. Her pieces often feature delicate floral motifs and intricate details, offering a poetic reflection on nature and cultural heritage. Wagner’s jewelry is more than just an accessory; it is a wearable work of art that celebrates beauty and storytelling.

2. Panayiotis Panayi – Structures Redefined through Geometry Originating from Cyprus, Panayiotis Panayi is a master of geometric design. His jewelry explores the interaction between shapes and light, resulting in minimalist yet deeply captivating pieces. Panayi’s work often incorporates materials like silver, gold, and precious stones, arranged in clean, architectural forms. His collections cater to those who appreciate a refined and modern aesthetic, making him one of the most exciting contemporary designers on the international stage.

3. Le Robe di Chicca – Whimsical Elegance with a Personal Touch Le Robe di Chicca, created by Chicca Tutte Pazze, is renowned for its romantic and timeless creations. Her jewelry draws inspiration from vintage designs, brought to life through a personal and artisanal approach. Each piece is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, combining elements like pearls, lace, and antique metals. Chicca’s creations have a nostalgic, charming quality that appeals to lovers of classic elegance with a modern twist. Her work stands out for its emotional connection and undeniable charm.

4. KARMAN Jewelry – Bold, Sculptural, and Full of Energy KARMAN Jewelry takes a daring departure from traditional forms, focusing on statement pieces that are both artistic and wearable. The brand’s designs are characterized by their sculptural forms and bold use of materials like bronze, silver, and leather. KARMAN’s jewelry is infused with energy and creativity, perfect for those looking to make a bold fashion statement. Each piece tells a story of innovation, pushing boundaries while maintaining wearability.

5. Paula Castro – Minimalism with a Focus on Sustainability Paula Castro’s jewelry brand, Little Nothing, is an ode to minimalism and sustainability. Based in Portugal, Castro emphasizes ethical production and environmentally conscious design. Her pieces are often understated but meticulously crafted, focusing on clean lines and subtle details. Guided by the philosophy that “less is more,” Castro’s approach offers versatile, timeless designs that align with the growing demand for sustainable fashion.

The autumn edition of Milano Fashion&Jewels 2024 received positive feedback, even in a challenging context, and these five designers stand out not only for their artistic vision but also for their ability to navigate the ever-evolving jewelry landscape. Their collections reflect a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, craftsmanship, and modernity, making them names to watch in the years ahead, particularly as the industry increasingly embraces AI-driven trends.

Some of these designers will also showcase their work at the AUTOR 2025 fair, where their creations will be available for purchase.
